The Home Renovation Rebate Program and CleanBC Home Efficiency Rebates—offered in partnership by BC Hydro, FortisBC, and CleanBC—provide financial incentives to help homeowners make energy-efficient upgrades that enhance comfort, lower energy bills, and reduce emissions. Rebate amounts vary based on your home's primary heating source.

Who’s Eligible?
Eligibility depends on several factors:

Your income – Income-qualified households may receive enhanced rebates through the CleanBC Better Homes Energy Savings Program

Property type – Rebates are available for both detached and some multi-unit homes

Must contract a licensed Home Performance Contractor Network (HPCN) member

You must have an active BC Hydro account

Installation work is required to be done by a licensed contractor who is part of the Home Performance Contractor Network (HPCN). All rebates can be accessed in one place via the CleanBC Better Homes Rebate Application. You must apply for your rebate within 6 months of the installation invoice date. Be sure to keep all your receipts and documentation.
